Hellen Louise Baker, 71, of Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015.
She was born on Dec. 10, 1943 in Lovington, Ill., to Vincel Auten and Beulah Tracy Auten.
Hellen had been employed by NACC -- P.R. Mallory Co. in Greencastle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dean; and a brother, Paul Auten.
Surviving are her children, Dean Baker and wife Lynn of Reelsville, Ben Baker and wife Kelly of Montezuma, Loretta Hamilton and husband Mike of Stilesville and Staci Baker of Greencastle; siblings Robert Auten and wife Carole of Lovington, Ill., Harold Auten and wife Mae of Decatur, Ill., Evelyn Haddan of Franklin, and Richard Auten of Montezuma; six grandchildren, Andrew Baker, Briana Hilburn and husband Brett, K'Lyn Jenkins, Anthony Baker, Mike Hamilton Jr. and Victoria Hamilton; and four great-granddaughters, Lily Baker, Emma Baker, Gracie Hilburn and Ellie Taylor.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 5 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Pastor Jeff Bridgewater officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 4 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials in Hellen's name may be directed to Gentiva Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
