Winnifred Blackburn , 86, of Worthville, died Monday at Owen County Memorial Hospital, Owenton. She was a homemaker and a member of Perry Park Methodist Church. Her husband, Charles Blackburn, and a son, Norman Blackburn, both preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughters, Wanda Arnold of Owenton and Janice Craig of Carrollton; sisters, Louise Jones of Louisville, Frances Jackson of Covington and Joyce Perkins of Owenton; six granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at McDonald Funeral Home, Main Street location, Owenton. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Port Royal Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Residents Council Fund, Owen County Memorial Hospital, 330 Roland Ave., Owenton, Ky. 40359.

A native of Henry County, she was the daughter of the late Ransom and Gertie Danner Bates; the widow of Charles Blackburn, and was also preceded in death by a son, Norman Blackburn; three brothers; four sisters; and one grandson.
