On September 19, 1833 in Dahlonega, Lumpkin County, Georgia, Zilphia CAMPBELL married Howell Eldridge FREELAND, son of Mary Ann and Isaac FREELAND (Isaac FREELAND served in Continental Army under General George Washington, including the Winter of 1777 at Valley Forge and later served in the War of 1812).

Together Zilphia CAMPBELL and Howell Eldridge FREELAND had children:
