William Scott Bond was a son of James A Bond and L Helen Whitaker. He was the brother of : Albert Sydney, Hattie F, James A Jr, Hattie Florence, Birdie Virginia, Lura, Edna Ann, John James, Helen Whitaker and Herbert Cyrus.
He married Florence Crutcher in 1894 in Carroll County, KY.
Their children :James Melone, Robert Ellis, Albert Sydney and an un named baby daughter who died as an infant.
He was in business with brother Albert Sydney and had the "Bond Brothers Sale and Training Stable." Other partners were Cole Belch and Pierce Winslow.
