Albert was the son of James A Bond and L Helen Whitaker.
He was the brother to : Hattie F, James A Jr, William Scott, Hattie Florence, Birdie Virginia, Lura, Edna Ann, John James, Helen Whitaker and Herbert Cyrus.
A. Sydney Bond married Virginia Craig Gex in 1921. She was a widow, and had been married to Mr. R. Smith Parker. She was widowed in 1899.

He, with his brother William Scott Bond, was a proprietor of the Bond Bros. Stables, listing his occupation in the 1930 census as blacksmith. Other persons connected with the stables were Cole Belch and Pierce Winslow. See photo of the Bond Bros. stables, which stood just to the north of the Carroll County courthouse in Carrollton, as recognized by the trim on the building to its right, which still stands as of 1997.
