Rockton - Fred Clover. rte. 1, a resident of rural Rockton all his life, died Wednesday in Rockford Memorial hospital.
Mr. Clover was born Sept. 11, 1890, the son of Charles and Viola Shores Clover. He married Louise Dingman, June 24, 1916, in a ceremony at the family farm where he lived all his life. Mr. Clover was a member of the Old Stone church.
Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Stauffer of Rockford; a son, Clare of Rockton; five grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Essie Wilson of Minneapolis.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Rosman-Uehling-Kinzer central chapel with the Rev. Rankin Shrewsbury officiating. Burial will be in the Rockton cemetery. There will be no visitation.
