Delores G. Bottini, 80, of Rome, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 in the Rome Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side.

She was born on March 13, 1935 in Rome a daughter of Nicholas P. and Joanna C. Dandino
Bottini. She was a graduate of RFA in 1952. She had worked as a secretary for Varflex Corporation for 42 years until her retirement. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church.

Delores enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles and visiting with her family and friends.

Delores is survived by her beloved family, her sisters Elizabeth "Liz" Bottini and Peter Fox and Kathleen "Kathy" and Howie Gilbert of Rome; nieces and nephews, Mark A. and Anne Bottini, Nicholas P. and Angela Bottini and Gary M. and Terri Bottini; great nieces and nephews, Nicholas and Kendra Bottini, Krista Bottini, Adam Bottini, Nichole Bottini and Nicholas P. and Sara Bottini and many cousins; an aunt Norine Dandino. She was predeceased by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Paul M. Bottini and Nicholas A. and Diane Bottini.

The family would like to extend a thank you to Rome Hospital ER, ICU, and 2 North, the Rehab and Therapy staff of Bethany Gardens and her family and friends that visited her.

Funeral services will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio as celebrant. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St. on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.

Contributions may be made in Delores's memory to the Jervis Public Library or St. John the Baptist Church Memorial Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
