Robert Lee Jackson of Blossom, World War I veteran, died at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Veterans Hospital near Dallas, where he was a patient. He was 54 years old, and had engaged in farming.
The funeral service will be held at Blossom Baptist Church conducted by the pastor, the Rev. George Williams, and Brown-Roden Funeral Home will make burial in Knights of Honor Cemetery at Blossom.
Time of service depends on word from out-of-town relatives.
Mr. Jackson was born Sept. 23, 1891 at Ben Franklin, son of the late John Jackson and Mrs. Jackson, living now at Blossom.
Besides his wife and his mother, he leaves six children, Mrs. Edith McHam, Paris; Albert Jackson, U.S. Navy; Billy Jackson, Dallas; Miss Mary Helen Jackson, Washington, D.C.; Robert Lee Jackson, Jr. and Joe Bailey Jackson, Blossom, and three brothers, Charles Jackson, Luther Jackson and Andrew Jackson, all of Blossom.
