John F. Jackson, in failing health several months, died at his home at Blossom, Monday about 3 p.m. He was born at Ben Franklin, Nov. 27, 1869, and had been a farmer at Blossom 50 years.

Funeral service was arranged for 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Baptist Church at Blossom, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. E. L. Redfearn, assisted by the Rev. J. D. Carleton, Nazarene pastor, Brown-Roden Funeral Home making interment in the Knights of Honor Cemetery at Blossom. M. E. Solomon, Alvin Ayers, George Ratliff, E. A. Gentry, Ernest Casey and Jim Gossett were named pallbearers.

He leaves his wife, formerly Miss Ellen White, and four sons, Lee, Charles H., J. L. and Andrew Jackson, all of Blossom, besides 11 grandchildren and a half-sister, Mrs. Mollie Ramsey, also of Blossom.
