Anna Mae (Swope) Mosbey, 84, of the Woodland Retirement Community, Formerly of Robertsdale, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the Woodland Retirement Community. Born in White Church (Six Mile Run), PA on May 31, 1930, a daughter of the late Cora (Noel) and Chester Swope. On July 10, 1947 , in Baltimore, MD, she was united in marriage to Jack S. Mosbey. He preceded her in death on December 14, 2002 She was a member of Robertsdale Church of God and over the years she had worked in a bakery in Baltimore, Quality Manufacturing, Wood Shoe Factory, Family House in Breezewood, and retired from Seton Manufacturing in 1992. She was a member and historian of the WCG at the church, she was also involved with the Evans Cemetery for years, she was also instrumental in raising funds to purchase flags for Robertsdale and Wood, and enjoyed public service helping others. Surviving are two daughters, Jeanette, wife of Fred Myers; Mary Lou, wife of Rick Perkins; a son, Dale, husband of Nicole Mosbey; Grandchildren, Harold Swope, Shawn Mosbey, Lainie Drenning, Chad Myers, Ashley Ritchey, Jade Ford, Katelyn Davis, 17 great grandchildren, two brothers, Harold and Ralph Swope; Brother in laws, Henry and Darryl Mosbey, sister in laws, Shirley Mosbey, Dee Swope, and Nancy Swope. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by sons, Martin Swope, and Jack Mosbey Jr, Grandson Kelly Swope, Sisters, Zora Swope and Hazel Hoover, and brother Clinton Swope. Friends will be received on Friday 12:30-2 PM at the Robertsdale Church of God with a funeral service to follow at 2 PM with Pastor Don Evans officiating. Interment at I.O.O.F.
