Philip Richardson Rites Tomorrow
Funeral services for Philip Richardson, 74, a retired Boston architect, will be held at 2 P.M. tomorrow at Forest Hills Chapel.
Mr. Richardson died Friday [9 April] at Massachusetts General Hospital. he was educated in the Boston schools and graduated from Harvard College in the class if 1896. He then traveled abroad for his architectural training.
He entered business with the firm of McKim, Meade & White in New York, and later formed an architectural firm of his own in Boston with his brother F.L.W. Richardson. His home was at 30 Ipswich Street.
He leaves his wife, four daughters, Mrs. Theodore F. Kane of Montpellier, Vt., Mrs. Henry DeFord, Jr., of Brookline, Mrs. Herbert B. Lutz of Brewster and Mrs. Hubert E. Claybrooke of Franklin, Me.; two sisters, Mrs. G.F. Shepley of Brookline and Mrs. Daniel Fiske Jones of Boston; and his brother.
