Funeral services for Alfred Alms, 86, who was found dead at his home in the town of Hansen Sunday morning, will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Krohn and Berard funeral home. Burial will be in Mound cemetery, Pittsville.
The deceased was born in Stockholm, Sweden, February 9, 1854, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Alms, coming to this country 60 years ago. In August of 1885 he married Catherine Maxwell in the town of Hansen. She preceded him in death. Surviving are three children, Mrs. Ernest Kummer, Arpin, George, Arpin and Mrs. Elizabeth Grogan of California.
