Firman Snyder 80, of Lebanon, died Thursday, May 8, 2003 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.

He was born December 5, 1922 in Laclede County to Lawrence Marion "Red" Snyder and Essie Starnes Snyder.

On October 17, 1943 he married Valeda Conn.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bill Snyder.

Mr. Snyder was a used car dealer since 1956. He was a member of Highland Park Church of God.

He is survived by his loving wife, Valeda, of the home, one son Reg; one brother, Bob Snyder and his wife Pauline, all of Lebanon; a sister-in-law, Bette Snyder of Independence, Kansas; two grandchildren; Amy Danielle Waterman and her husband, Matt and Bradley Scott Snyder and his wife, Erin, all of Lebanon.

Services for Firman Snyder will be held at 2 p. m. Sunday, May 11, 2003, at Highland Park Church of God.

Burial will be in the Lebanon Cemetery under the directions of Thieme-Shadel-HIcks Funeral Services at Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
