Lorene Powers Dies After Lengthy Illness
Mrs Lorene May Powers, 33, died October 30, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Taylor, 217 Summit, after an illness of several years.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Dunsford funeral home.
Mrs. Powers was born August 28, 1913 at Augusta. On October 5, 1929 she was married to Howard Powers. Other suvivors are a son, Laurel Lee; a brother Tommy L.; sisters, Mrs. Juanita Malan, Mrs. Ellabelle Miller, and Mrs. Rosie Powers, all of Augusta, Mrs. Helen Auernheimer, Inglewood, Calif.; also her grandmother, Mrs. W. H. Patterson.
