CHARLES C. LEONARD.

Charles C. Leonard, 71, of 308 1/2 West Second street, died at the St. Joseph hospital at 8 a. m. today.

The son of Martin and Orrel [sic] Leonard, he was born October 28, 1880, in Wapello county. He had been a resident of the Melrose community for several years, returning to Ottumwa three years ago. His marriage to Annie Scieszinski took place November 22, 1922, in Ottumwa.

Mr. Leonard is survived by his wife; four stepsons, Walter Judge of Melrose, Frank Judge of Albia and Edward and Michael Judge, both of Ottumwa; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Ed Lahart of Georgetown, Iowa, Mrs. Walter Feehan of Dudley, Mrs. John Carr of Oskaloosa and Mrs. Everett Carlo of Ottumwa; two brothers, Elmer and Harry Leonard of Ottumwa; and 18 step-grandchildren.

His parents, two brothers, three sisters and one stepson preceded him in death.

The body is at the Johnson funeral chapel pending completion
of arrangements.

Funeral services for Charles C. Leonard, 71, of 308 1/2 West Second street, who died Wednesday morning at the St. Joseph hospital, will be at 1:30 p. m. Friday at the
Johnson funeral chapel. The Rev. LaVerne Morris, pastor of the Davis Street Christian church, will be in charge, and burial will be in Shaul cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Walter Feehan, Everett Carlo, Harry Leonard, Carl Mundt, John Carr and Billy Judge.
