PHILIP S. D'AMICO

MOUNT SAVAGE - Philip S. D'Amico, 86, of Maple Hills, died Friday, Sept. 7, 1990, Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.

Born Jan. 27, 1904, in Meyersdale, Pa., he was the son of the late Charles F. and Anna (Arena) D'Amico. He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

A retired employee of Sealtest Dairy, Cumberland, he was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Mount Savage Council 1058, Knights of Columbus, and the Mount Savage Senior Citizens.

Surviving are his widow, Clara (Bishields) D'Amico; one brother, Anthony D'Amico, Mechanicsburg, Pa.; four sisters, Mrs. Rose Weber and Mrs. Joan Keating, both of Mechanicsburg; Mrs. Celia Mahone, Lady Lake, Fla,; and Mrs. Rita Huth, Valrico, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Patrick's Catholic Church Monday at 10 a.m. by the Rev. John J. Mackey. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Members of the Knights of Columbus will recite the rosary Sunday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.

The family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
