Doris Laverne Blough the daughter of the late Jay Ralph and Ila Fisher Pitts was born November 12, 1930 in Portageville, MO.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Risco. She was also a member of the Risco Rural Independence Club.
On December 23, 1951 in Tallapoosa, MO, she was united in marriage to Ralph William Blough. He survives.
Mrs. Blough died Wednesday, April 15, 2015 in Ozark, MO at the age of 84 years, 5 months and 3 days.
Survivors include; her husband, Ralph Blough of Risco, MO; 1 daughter, Deborah Snowden and husband Edward of Battlefield, MO; 1 son, Ralph Wayne Blough and wife Melissa of San Antonio, TX; 5 grandchildren, Sarah, Seth Snowden, Slade Snowden, Christian Blough, Luke Blough; 8 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Violet Kimball of Plaistow, NH, Peggy of St. Louis, MO; 2 brothers, Calvin Pitts of St. Louis, Jerry Pitts of St. Louis and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by 1 brother, Charles Pitts; 2 sisters, Deloma Ramsey and Brenda Thompson.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Risco. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Reverend Lonnie Mittag and Reverend Robert Wake officiating. Burial will be in Memorial in Malden, Missouri.
