Little Raymond, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Erickson, died September 3, 1899, of brain trouble, aged 2 years, 5 months and 14 days. All was done that loving hands could do to keep the cruel hand of death away, but God has now transplanted this lovely flower into the beautiful garden of Heaven. Little Raymond was too sweet for this sinful world. How we will miss him. The funeral was preached by Rev. T. H. Tatlow. The remains were laid to rest in the Linville cemetery.
Darling Raymond how we will miss you.
Since your loving smiles on earth are gone;
And see no more of they loving kisses,
Until the Resurrection morn.
