Mary attended Panther Creek Baptist Church. She retired after working as a secretary for Florida State Children and Family Services. Mary volunteered for many years with youth sports and enjoyed reading, sewing, crafts and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John Stephen Nafrady, Sr.; a son, John Nafrady, Jr. (Doris) of Owensboro; a daughter, Gabrielle Bennett (Bob) of Maceo; a son, Miklos “Miki” Nafrady of San Antonio, Texas; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Harold Anderson of Frostproof, Florida and Charles Anderson (Joyce) of Owensboro.
The funeral service will be at 10 AM Saturday, April 18 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Rev. Eddie Duke will officiate. Burial will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
