Reading Eagle, May 24, 1966, page 34:
Birdsboro, May 24 - Paul R. Angstadt, 73, formerly of Hamilton's Old Folks Home, this borough, died yesterday in the Berks County Tuberculosis Sanatorium.
Born in Rockland Township, a son of the late Isaac H. and Eliza (Reinert) Angstadt, he was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Mount Penn.
Before retiring, Angstadt had been employed as a custodian by the Monocacy Fire Co. and was familiarly known as "Popeye."
His wife, Esther (Fegley) Angstadt, died Jan. 25, 1947.
Angstadt is survived by two sisters, Mary, widow of Samuel Houcks, Frederick, Montgomery County, and Emma, widow of Lester Wiest, Albuquerque, N.M.
Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Lutz Funeral Home, Reading, the Rev. Frederick A. Sterner officiating.
Burial will follow in Aulenbach's Cemetery.

[Paul worked for many years as a knitter in the hosiery mills.]
