A life long area resident, he was born Sunday, Feb. 17, 1918, in the Town of Poland, the son of the late Clifford and Jessie WOLCOTT Ball. He died at 11:42 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2006, in the WCA Hospital.
Harland was a 1935 graduate of Falconer High School, and along with his wife, Louise had operated Ball View Dairy Farm on the Levant-Gerry Rd. for many years.
Surviving are his wife, Louise Larson Ball of 64 years, whom he married Dec. 24, 1941, in Jamestown, two sons: Ronny (Carol) Ball and Marshall (Jann) Ball, both of Falconer, a daughter Shirley (Vance) Lowe of Kennedy, seven grandchildren: four great-grandsons, two great-granddaughters, and two brothers: Myril Ball of Falconer, and Burnell Ball of Florida.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, David Ball in 1971. Burial in Levant Cemetery.
