FRIENDSHIP ----- Funeral services for John W. Day, 75, Easton, who died at a Portage hospital Saturday, were held at 2 p.m. today at the Roseberry Funeral Home here. The Rev. J. T. O’Neill officiated and burial was made in Easton.
Mr. Day, a farmer in the Easton vicinity for many years, was born in Crawford County March 17, 1878. He was married to Minnie Schuler in 1901. She died in 1941.
He is survived by two children, Lilly, at home, and Norman, Easton; three brothers, Daniel, Grand Marsh; Thomas, Easton; and Frank, in the state of Montana; and two sisters, Mrs. Norma Tangey, Deerfield, Wis., and Mrs. Grace Schultz, Milwaukee.
