WHITING – Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church here for Helen Grace Parmentier, 82, Whiting, who died Saturday, Nov. 22, 1997, in Golden, Colo., at the home of a daughter where she had been staying recently.
She was born July 20, 1915, near Frankfort, the daughter of Reno Albert and Eva Mae Banks Sharp. She spent her early life near Frankfort where she attended schools. She worked at the Slimaker Dress Factory in Holton 25 years.
She was married to Edward Harvey Parmentier on Jan. 6, 1937, in Frankfort. He died Jan. 12, 1981.
Survivors include a daughter, two sisters, three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery at Whiting. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church in Whiting, 66552. Mercer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
