T. S. Denton, a prominent citizen of the Luxora community, died at his home in Luxora Saturday morning last at 1 o’clock.
Funeral services were held at Luxora Sunday morning at 10:45 and burial was had at the Luxora Cemetery.
Mr. Denton is survived by his wife, one son and three daughters and three sisters, Madames Wilson Burchfiel, of Osceola, Lydia H. Ballew, of Flint, Michigan and W. W. Cowan, of Luxora.
Mr. Denton had long been a sufferer from high blood pressure and Bright’s disease and for some weeks past his condition had been serious. His death came as a relief to his intense suffering and he was prepared and ready to meet his maker.
The stricken family have the sympathy of the entire community in their time of sorrow.
