WRIGHTSVILLE Dorothy E. Livelsberger Hammer, 80, of Wrightsville, died at 1:10 a.m. Tuesday at Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Lloyd J. Hammer, and of the late James A. Livelsberger Sr.
The service will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Etzweiler Funeral Home Inc., 700 Hellam St., Wrightsville. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Wrightsville. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hammer was born on March 19, 1914, at Chambersburg. She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Anna Marie (Stouffer) Smith.
She was a retired employee of Campbell Chain Co. of York. She was a member of Eastside Bible Church, Lower Windsor Township, the American Legion Abel-Poff-Leitheiser Post 469 Auxiliary and Eastern Area Senior Citizens.
Mrs. Hammer is survived by six sons, James A. Livelsberger Jr. of Wrightsville, William F. Livelsberger of Columbia, Richard E. Livelsberger of Wrightsville, Thomas M. Livelsberger of Columbia, Russell Livelsberger and Michael D. Livelsberger, both of Wrightsville; eight daughters, Rose Marie Workman of Centre Hall, Anna Louise Graham of Columbia, Joyce E. Hake, Kathryn E. Gochenour, Janet E. Shoff, Mary Theresa Strocko, all of Wrightsville, Faye V. Beaverson of East Prospect, and Tamra D. Wise of Red Lion.
Also, three stepsons, Francis E. Livelsberger, Robert Livelsberger and Henry C. Livelsberger, all of Hanover; a stepdaughter, Margaret M. Jacoby of Edge Grove.
And, 43 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 33 step-grandchildren; 61 step-great-grandchildren; 14 step-great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Edna Brodbeck of York, and Janet Wege of Hanover.
Officiating at the service will be her minister, Pastor Randy W. Panebaker. 09-13-94
