Anna M. Ahlstrom, 68, of Wenona, passed away March 10, 1957 in St. Joseph's Hospital in Bloomington after an illness of three week's duration.
She was born in Bertrand, Nebraska on September 22, 1888, a daughter of John W. and Helga Augusta (Engstrand) Johnson. She was married to Oscar Ahlstrom on July 18, 1916 in Colorado. Her husband preceded her in death in 1947.
Survivors include three children: Leland Ahlstrom of Wenona; Wilma (Hilton) Jannusch of Wenona; and Lillian (Arthur) Spalding of McLean. Also surviving is one grandchild; five sisters: Lettie Challberg of Turlock, California; Ada C. (Guy) Atkinson of Bertrand, Nebraska; Irene L. (Leonard) High of Holdredge, Nebraska; Martha Fuller of Peoria; and Nina Ahlstrom of Wenona; and two brothers: Aaron Johnson of Bertrand, Nebraska and Julius Johnson of Wahoo, Nebraska.
