DICKINSON — Visitation for Mrs. Cynthia Fenix will be held from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 11th at the Mainland Funeral Home Chapel in LaMarque. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at Concord Baptist Church, 314 E. Galveston in League City with Pastor Shelby L. Samuels, officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster.
Mrs. Fenix was born March 21, 1910, in Fayetteville, Texas to the late William Orise and Mary Brown. She was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Dickinson. She was a dedicated member of Concord Baptist Church in League City where she served as a Deaconess and past President of the Mission.
She departed this life to be with the Lord on October 6, 2005, at Clear Lake Regional Hospital in Webster, at the age of 95.
She is preceded in death by parents; her husband, Herman Fenix and son, Earnest Fenix.
Left to cherish her memories are her devoted daughter-in-law, Ethelene Fenix of Dickinson; two grandchildren, Marvin Fenix and Josephine Hughes both of Houston; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins; her Concord Church Family; other relatives and friends.
