Marlin Atwood Anderson Sr., 86, of Athens, died Monday, May 29, 2006, at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Verna Mae Anderson; two daughters, Marla Hooie Easter of Elkmont and Lisa Rodgers of Athens; five sons, Clarence Andrew Anderson of Decatur, Ralph Richard Anderson of Birmingham, and Marlin Atwood Anderson Jr., Curtis Jackson Anderson and Ross Elmore Anderson, all of Athens; one sister, Mary Land of Nashville; one brother, Jack Anderson of Jasper; 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
