Alex Linson, 67, passed away April 7, 2015 in Fort Smith.
He was born June 3, 1947 in the Philippines to Gil A. Linson and Olivia Sumudivilla Linson.
Alex was a 1966 graduate of Northside High School, was an US Army Veteran serving in Vietnam, and he was retired from Rheem Manufacturing.
He was a very forgiving and generous man and he loved spending time with his family enjoying; basketball, fishing, playing poker and dominos.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Eddie Linson.
Alex is survived by two sons, Aaron Linson and his wife Stacy, of Lowell, AR, and Eric Linson and his wife Kara, of Iowa City, Iowa; four brothers, Delfin, Gil, Albert, and Larry Linson, all of Fort Smith; two grandchildren, Aidan Jay Linson and Harper Brianne Linson; nine nieces and nephews, Judy Sosebee, Delfin Linson Jr., Karen Laman, Elizabeth Allison, Larue Linson, Dr. Larry Linson, Keith Linson, Chris and Jason Linson.
Funeral Service will be 9:00 AM Friday, April 10, 2015 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial in US National Cemetery in Fort Smith.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 9, 2015, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
Following the service the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, in the Rose Room at the Creekmore Park Community Center.
