Julia married Herman Howard Schmidt, Son of George Howard Schmidt and Anna Edna Miller, on August 29, 1955 in Wingett Run Township, Washington County, Ohio. This union produced two children:
1. Judith Lynn Schmidt; and,
2. James William Allen Schmidt.
Julia and Herman divorced on June 23, 1961 in Summit County, Ohio. Herman retained custody of both of their minor children.
Julia married Gary Walters, Son of Alfred Clayton Walters and Alma Tankersley, on June 28, 1963 in Akron Township, Summit County, Ohio. Julia and Gary had the following children together:
1. Lisa Walters; and,
2. Tony Allen Walters.
