ELWOOD - Frederic A. Tyner, 56, of 1408 S. E. St., died at 7 p.m. Wednesday at his home after an illness of 16 years. The body was taken to the Robert L. Jackley Funeral Home pending completion of arrangements.
Mr. Tyner was born June 17, 1905 at Curtisville, the son of Obid and Mary Tyner. He married Martha Newlan Aug. 8, 1936. He was a former employee of the G. I. Sellers and Son Company here, and had been a lifetime residence of Elwood.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Martha Tyner: a daughter, Mrs. Benny Scott, Elwood: a son, Freddie T. Tyner, Elwood: three sisters, Mrs. Herbert Etchison, Richmond: Mrs. Aubrey Colvin and Mrs. George Morris, Elwood: two brothers, Walter Tyner, Richmond, and Charles Tyner, Elwood and one grandson.
