Robert was the son of Robert Aleander and Neoma Lee (Granger) Lewis. He attended and graduated from Atoka Public School and then attended Southeastern College. He was an Atoka police officer, owner and operated Callicoat's Meat Processing for 14 years; and worked for Oklahoma State Tourism Station at Lake Texoma, park maintenance and water laboratory. Robert proudly served his country in the Army. He married Lois Renay (Callicoat) on June 14, 1967 at Durant, OK. Robert was a member of Atoka Full Gospel Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping; loved woodworking and carpentry work. He was a builder for most of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Benny Joe Lewis; and father in law, Cecil Callicoat.
