Christine L. Hill Ferrell, age 61, of New Catle, passed away Wednesday evening, April 26, 2006 at the Henry County Memorial hospital following a brief illness.
She was born June 14, 1944 in Portsmouth, Ohio and was the daughter of the late John and Vinnie (Adkins) Hill.
Christine worked several years ago for Brooks Foods in Mount Summit and had also worked for Vance`s Restaurant in New Catle, She is an active member of Abundant Life Church of God in New Castle. She also enjoyed gardening.
Christine is survived by her husband of 32 years, Robert Ferrell of New Castle, four brothers, John (wife-Ina) Hill of New Castle, Henry (wife-Roberta) Hill of Spiceland, Scott (wife-Pam) Hill and Tim (wife-Roxanna) Hill of New Castle, one sister, Carolyn (husband-DeWayne) Moses of New Castle, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Wylie Hill, three sisters, Betty Fultz, Lulabell Cmehil, and Helen Hill.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 1, 2006 at the Abundant Life Church of God located at 1603 G Ave., New Castle, with Reverend GAry R. Weaver officiation. Burial will follow at the Sount Mound Cemetery, Westlawn Addition. Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Marcum Community Funeral Home in New Castle, and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. For information, please call 529-7500
