Two Former Citizens of Russell Pass Away.
From the Columbus Ledger of the 17th instant, we are informed of the demises of two of Russell county's old land marks. Both of them were inhabitants of Crawford in its balmiest days, and are well known to the people of Russell county. The Ledger's accounts are as follows:

MR. A. B. EILAND.
Mr. A. B. Eiland, age 70 years, died at 5:45 o'clock this morning at his residence in Phenix City, after an illness of three months from an abscess in his side. Besides his wife, several children survive him. He was a consistent member of the first Baptist church in Phenix City. The interrment [sic] takes place at Ladonia church, five west of the city."
