Our beloved, Jose Rodriguez, 88, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2015, in Hemet, California.

Jose was born to Rosalio Rodriguez and Maria Ponce on January 18, 1927 in Granger, Texas.

After graduating from North Side High School in 1943, Fort Worth, Texas, Jose enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Force as a Paratrooper. After being discharged in 1945, Jose made his home in San Diego, California, working at Weber's Bakery for many years before retiring.

Jose is predeceased by his parents, Rosalio & Maria Rodriguez, brothers, Matilde Rodriguez of San Diego, Baltazar Rodriguez of San Luis Potosi, Mexico, Alfonso Rodriguez and Pantaleon Rodriguez both of Fort Worth, Texas. Sisters, Cirila R. Pena, Romana R. Arenas, Grace R. Perez, of San Diego, California, Paulita Rodriguez and Maria Felis Rodriguez both of Granger, Texas.

Survivors: Wife, Olivia V. Rodriguez, two daughters, Rosalia R. Valdez, Rebecca R. Calderon, three grandchildren, Angel'Lia V. Cisnero, Che'Lia Valdez, Joseph Calderon, one great-grandchild Alfonso Cisneros, and one sister, Pauline R. Knauer of La Mesa, California
