Juanita May Knee, 84, died Thursday, April 26, 2001, at her residence in Peoria.


Born Jan. 12, 1917, in West Lebanon, Ind., to Alexander and Lena May Shields Kennedy, she married Richard Marion Knee on Jan. 19, 1935, in Covington, Ind. He died Oct. 12, 1964, in Peoria.


Three brothers and five sisters also preceded her in death.


Surviving are one son, Herbie (and Myrtle); three daughters, Virginia Knee, Betty Goodman, and Brenda (and Robert) Atkinson.


She was a homemaker.


Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.
