Abel, age 77 years. of 132 Conant Avenue died in Grace Heater's Convalescent Home in Toledo, Ohio. He lived in Monroe for 40 years. Before retirement six years ago, he was employed 18 years at Consolidated Paper Company. He married Mrs. Ida Pearce of Monroe 24 years ago. Beside his wife, he is survived by three brothers, George of Alberta, Canada; Joseph of Marquette, and Walter, living in the West; two step-daughters, Mrs. Viola Metzger of Fort Erie, Ontario and Mrs. Alma Wall of Detroit; and two step-sons, Percy and Alfred Pearce of Buffalo, New York.
