Funeral services for Adela Nieto, 92, of Rosenberg, will be held Wed., June 25, at 2 p.m. at Angeles Funeral Home in Rosenberg, with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. A prayer service will be held Tues., June 24, at 7 p.m. at Angeles Funeral Home.
Mrs. Nieto was born Dec. 16, 1904 in Kyle, TX to Melchor DeLuna and Maria Ester Campos. She passed away June 24, 1997 in Rosenberg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Nieto; parents, Maria Ester Campos and Melchor DeLuna; sisters, Julia Contreras and Luz Aguilar; brother, Jesus DeLuna and Melchor DeLuna.
She is survived by sons, Samuel Nieto, Sr. and his wife, Susie, Guadalupe Nieto; sisters, Sara Rodriguez, Margarita Trevino, Amparo Avila; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
