Anthony was born say 1705-1710, probably in Mansfield Twp., Burlington Co., NJ. He was the son of Henry Cook and Wyntje Franse Klauw. He married Keziah Roberts. He was a yeoman in Trenton Twp., old Hunterdon Co., NJ (now Trenton/Ewing, Mercer Co.). He died between 6 Jan. 1781 (date of will) and 3 Feb. 1781 (date estate inventoried).

Anthony and Keziah had 8 known children, as follows:

1. Elizabeth, m. David Holden or Olden;
2. Mary "Polly" (linked below), b. 8 Aug. 1735, m. Nathaniel Reed;
3. Henry;
4. Jane (linked below), m. James Burroughs;
5. William;
6. Wincha;
7. Anthony Jr. (linked below); and
8. Jonathan (linked below).

Note: Anthony may be buried in the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Ewing, Mercer Co., NJ, based on his residence in old Trenton Township and the interment of other relatives in that location.
