Inscription

UNMARKED GRAVE. In the 1920 census John and Mary M Rice Yancy were living with their daughter and son-in-law (William Monroe Belue). It is probable that they are buried in the Martling Cemetery. Many deteriorated stones were removed from their graves by "helpful" people when cleaning the cemetery.

John's daughter is the gray granite stone to the right. To the left of her is James and Mary Belue. As you can see there are multiple unmarked sandstones around along with this above ground graves. This is looking toward the back of the cemetery. A road goes around the old part of the cemetery. My thought is that he would be buried close to his daughter who was a Belue
