Beatrice Stone Turley, 92, of Rexburg, died March 30, 2015, of natural causes. She was born September 12, 1922, in Salem, Utah, the 17th and youngest child of Joseph A. Stone and his 3rd wife, Mary Johnson.

Bea grew up and attended school in Utah. In the early 1940's, she and her sister Zella moved to Los Angeles, California.

While in California, Bea met and married Wilson W. Turley. She worked alongside her husband on their ranches in Oregon. Upon their return to California she worked many years as a teletypist.

Bea was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by her three children and their spouses: Gordon (Sylvia) Turley, Frances (Steve) Vanderschaaf, Robert (Sandy) Turley; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, at the Plano LDS Chapel with Bishop Kyle Williams officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Plano Cemetery under the direction of Flamm Funeral Home.
