PEKIN - Henry Franklin "Frank" Houston, 84, of 11 Rose Court died at 8:50 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006, at his home.
Born Jan. 3, 1922, in Benton County, Miss., to Joseph Thomas and Effie Florene Wilkerson Houston, he married Frances Jean Agee on Jan. 27, 1951, in Holly Springs, Miss.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
Frank served with the U.S. Army during World War II.
He worked for Caterpillar Inc. in East Peoria for 30 years, retiring as an assembler in 1982.
He attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Pekin.
He enjoyed gardening.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Syl Carter will officiate.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Orendorff Cemetery near Hopedale. Military rites will be provided by the Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team.
