Virginia Lucy "Ginny" Wright, 86, of Natick died Sunday September 7, 2014 at the Metro West Medical Center in Framingham.

She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Franklin "Dick" Wright who died March 19, 2014, having shared 62 years of marriage. A Natick resident for 61 years, she was born December 20, 1927 in Victoria Virginia, daughter of the late Hubert and Grace (Smith) Lucy.

Mrs. Wright worked as a Respiratory Therapist at the Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick for 25 years.

She was a devoted member of the First Congregational Church in Natick serving as Church Deacon, choir member, Book Club and Bible Study member.

Mrs. Wright was an accomplished quilter and seamstress and with her family enjoyed music, theater and the arts.

She is survived by five sons, R. Spencer Wright of Somerville, Steven M. Wright and his wife Susan of San Mateo CA, Philip C. Wright of Natick, Jeffery B. Wright of Charlestown NH, J. Douglas Wright of Natick and eleven grandchildren, one sister Anne Purple of Lexington KY, and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Hubert Lucy Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Sunday September 14, at 1:00 P.M. in the First Congregational Church, 2 East Central Street Natick.

Private burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery, South Natick.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (PBS).
