She was the daughter of the late Garland Coffer and Allie Fields Coffer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Claude R. Lankford, and brother, Charles Coffer. She was survived by sons, Larry Lankford (Susan) of Sanford, Mike Lankford (Helen) of High Point, Terry Lankford (Shirley) of Sanford; daughter, Debora Boyd (Bobby) of Wilmington; sisters, Glenda Snider (Larry) of Southern Pines, and Christine Porter of Charlotte; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
