Mary Frances Adams Bennett, 85, of Lilburn, Ga.,died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005, at Embracing Hospice in Snellville, Ga., of complications from high blood pressure, was born Dec. 22, 1919, in Ragland, Ala., and married the Rev. Hal D. Bennett of Danville, in 1939. He died at age 72, in 1982, and is buried in Graceville.
Survivors include three sons, Hal Bennett Jr. of Gulf Shores, Ala., Tom Bennett of Lilburn, Ga., and Tim Bennett of Bluffton, S.C.; and their wives, Carolyn, Lorraine and Lynnette, respectively; a brother, George Adams and wife Charlotte, of Leeds, Ala.; two sisters, Jane Watson of Westavia, Ala., and Sara Bentley of Dora, Ala.; two grandchildren, Bryan Bennett of Gulf Shores, and Susan Bennett of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and a great-granchild, Maren Grace Bennett of Gulf Shores.
