Lucetta and James had 11 children; Nathan Mason, Orestes V., Leftridge Perry, Ida, William Martin, Charles Ottmer, twins Martha A. and Mary E., and twins Leon F. and Leondus Titus, and Esta.
James was a farmer by trade.
He died on 28 Mar 1895 in Union, Putnam Co, WV, aged 50 years, 7 months and 24 days.
Lucetta never remarried, remaining a widow until her death over thirty years later on 20 Apr 1926, aged 78 years, 5 months and 28 days.
