WOMAN DIES AT DAUGHTERS HOME

Mrs. Della Jane Hendrickson, Aged 70, Died Near Winchester Church Last Night

Mrs. Della Jane Hendrickson, widow of John Hendrickson, died at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Baker, of Washington township at 10:15 o'clock Tuesday night following a long illness due to heart asthma.
She has been living at her daughter's home, near the Winchester Church for the past six years.
Mrs. Hendrickson was the daughter of Ephriam & Katherine (Evard) Rothrock and was born in Bartholomew county on April 1, 1868. She was 70 years, 1 month and 4 days old. Forty-eight years ago she was married to John Hendrickson, who died May 10, 1903. Four children were born to the union, all of whom survive. They are Mrs. Elsie Baker, at whose home she died; George Hendrickson, of Columbus; Hallard of Clifford, and Arnold, of Indianapolis.
She is also survived by four grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Melissa Nigh, of Ft. Pierce, South Dakota and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at the Winchester church following brief services at the late home, Rev. W. R. Burkher, pastor of the church will officiate and burial will be in the Lewis Creek Baptist cemetery in charge of C. F. Fix and Son funeral directors.
Mrs. Hendrickson was a member of the Clifford Christian Church.
