Adolfo Fidi , 87, of 35 Waterman Ave. died yesterday at Cherry Hill Manor. He was the husband of the late Felicita (Danella) Fidi .
Mr. Fidi was a machinist for the former Crompton Mills, Pawtucket, for 2 6years before he retired in 1959.
He was born in Rome, Italy, and came to this country in 1920, settling in Providence where he lived until moving to Johnston in 1945.
He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Teresa Angelone, Mrs. Jennie Luft and Miss Irene Fidi , all of Johnston; three sons, Victor C. Fidi of Plantsville, Conn., Adolfo R. Fidi of Miami, Fla., and Salvatore P. Fidi of Munson, Mass.; nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Road, at 10. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
