Beloved husband of the late Ruth E. (Greaves) Eaton who died in 2007. He leaves behind his children Cheryl D. Eaton and her fiance Tony Pinder of York Maine, Joyce E. Gravel and her husband Greg of Concord, Scott Eaton and Elyte Moffat of Marlboro, and Wayne F. Eaton and his wife Susan of Melrose. The brother of Melville Eaton and his wife Janice of Laconia, NH and the late Cynthia Earle and her husband Charles formally of Watertown. Also leaves behind his 8 grandchildren one great grandson, and many nieces and nephews.
Born in Wayland and raised in Watertown he was the son of Wayne E, Sr. and Augusta (Cazmey).
He was a veteran of the US Army, a lifelong printer by trade and a member of the Pequossette Lodge A.F. & A.M. in Watertown for more than 50 years.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015, 11am at the First Church in Marlborough Congregational, 37 High Street, Marlborough. Cremation will follow with burial at a later date in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery, Marlborough, with military honors. Calling hours at the John P. Rowe Funeral Home Inc., 57 Main St., Marlborough are Thursday, February 5th from 4 till 8pm.. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
