Deaths -Poe. Preston County Journal. Kingwood, WV. Thur., Oct. 24, 1889. Excerpt -- Uncle Jonathan Poe, one of Taylor County's oldest and most prominent citizens, died on the 12th at the home of his son-in-law, Frank Lucas, in Fetterman District. He was well and favorably known all over the State, and until late years was one of the most active and ardent Democratic workers in that county and State. He was 89 years old. Contributor: D. G.
